Destination Information
Puerto Vallarta– one of Mexico’s most enticing coastal destinations.
Weather: Puerto Vallarta has a typical tropical climate, with nearly constant temperature and humidity year round. The rainy season runs from June through Mid-October, with virtually no precipitation the rest of the year. Even in rainy season, the rain normally falls in short bursts, most often at night, with most days being hot and dry. Tours and fishing trips are seldom affected by the weather in Puerto Vallarta, it’s very rare.

Highlights:
- There are endless activities in and around the Puerto Vallarta area including boat trips, horseback rides, diving trips and day trips to the interior. After sunset, Vallarta takes on a new identity with pumping nightlife along the cobblestone streets and numerous LGBT-friendly options in what is the gay beach capital of Mexico.
- Downtown Puerto Vallarta is unique in having maintained its small village atmosphere without succumbing, too much, to the pressures of tourism. On the other hand, don’t be surprised to find a Starbucks in the main square.
- Most of the north side of the bay lies in our neighbouring state of Nayarit while Puerto Vallarta is in the state of Jalisco, which is the home of Tequila and Mariachi
- Vallarta is ringed with jungle-covered mountains and in many places the jungle comes to just footsteps from the beach. Numerous year-round rivers feed the Bay.
